A Report from Albany

Hello friends,

As some of you may be aware, the residents of Albany, New York are currently dealing with an excess of Daves. This overdavebundance has caused real pain and troubles for our people, including confusion when referring to simply "Dave" during conversation and the constant, crippling fear that one day the same space will be occupied by two Daves with the same surname. In fact, I can personally attest to there being a house in the heart of Albany that contains not two, but three separate Daves. We are at our wits' end. Mostly we fear for the future of our children, who may grow up to refer to all white men in their 20's-30's as Dave.

The residents of our city purpose a deal to those currently living under the terror of mattcapacity. One Dave for one Matt, delivered by Megabus, for as long as our two cities see fit. We will know when our trade agreement has served its purpose when our children freely play in the streets again, the elderly feel safe in their homes, and when stray cats can go about their daily business without being harassed and molested.

Solidarity,
Allison

  1. This is truly a light at the end of the tunnel, a ray of hope peeking through from a clouded sky. We humbly accept your bold plan, though I propose we wait until Megabus has one of those great $1 deals, because it can't hurt to be economical about it.

  2. P.S. Occasionally we have too many Nates; do you need any of those?
